The Windhoek Fashion Week took place this past week from the 1st-6th of December 2020 and it was a star-studded affair.

Armed with the best looks, scores of people took the fashion event by storm and some of our favourite and most fashionable celebs were in attendance, and as expected they put their best stilettos and looks forward for one of the country's most renowned fashion show.

The days featured different segments to it including workshop, some inspirational fashion engagements and the main event.

Designers got to showcase their unique garments from the eccentric to the extraordinary it was truly an amazing show. Here are some the celebrities who were spotted at the events including Luis Munana, Maria Nepembe, Oteya and KP Illest.

The Windhoek Fashion Week, has become a not-to-be-missed event in the Namibian social calendar as it brings creatives and fashionistas together for a week full of glitz and glamour, and it is always a star-studded affair.

It is no secret that this year has been a tough year for the fashion industry in the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Even though we have experienced some hiccups, since the last edition of the show, some of our designers have done so well that they have gained international recognition and acclaim, while our celebrities have made an impact on just about every big stage they have graced.

So when the opportunity comes to celebrate the great year they had enjoyed, they all prepare this big celebration. WFW has partnered with the MTC to host the biggest fashion event in the Namibian fashion calendar, which has been dubbed MTC Windhoek Fashion Week.

The event was founded by Luis Munana, and he made sure everything was stellar as the stage was absolutely stunning and scores of people heeded his call to come and attend the event to witness the best in the country's fashion industry.
From its inception in 2016, the Windhoek Fashion Week has grown to become one of the biggest fashion events in Southern Africa.

The founder of the event Luis Munana, took to Instagram to reveal the exciting news the MTC was going to partner with it.

"So honoured to announce that WFW will be partnering up with MTC to host Namibia’s biggest fashion event to be known as MTC WINDHOEK FASHION WEEK," he wrote.
