Varaakuani Hambira, also known as Varaa, is a small town girl with big dreams. Raised in Gobabis, Varaa is once again entering Miss Namibia after being crowned as the First Princess back in 2016 and this time she wants to take it home.
Since then, Varaa dropped the pageant life in pursuit of modeling. With her slim figure, youthful face and just cool girl aura, she has been able to rack up quite a following on social media.
In fact, her social media also is a bit of a fashion inspiration to us so we went over there and picked up a few pointers - we thought the least we could do was share what we learned.
(We also recently took some fashion tips from one of our favorite fashion bloggers Leah.)
When she isn't on the ramp, Varaa happens to be a very dope content creator. She has worked with some of the countries top photographers and bloggers to help them create some amazing work. On those busy shoot days, one definitely needs a convenient way to carry everything you need.

Make A Statement
Don't let that pretty face! Varaa shocked many when she used her platform to help spread the #MeToo platform across Namibia. She also used fashion to help spread the message, showing a permanent reminder to whom ever saw her on the street that sexual harassment and abuse need to stop here at home too.
We're sure you've heard of the LBD, right? Well, her little sister is equally important. A little black mini skirt is a wardrobe staple. They can be sexy, intimidating or just fun on a night out. Make sure you get one! Keep it at a decent length and you can take it anywhere.
Switch It Up
Another thing her followers love her for, is how she's always ready to try something new with her hair. Be it dying her afro or trying out the latest trending braid styles, everything looks amazing on her! She always tries to show the versatility of African hair with some help from a few natural hair blogger approved tips.
