Winter came in swinging this year, much earlier than we expected. With the temperature dropping, it's harder to get dressed every morning. We honestly barely had time to shop! But now it's time to get ready for that winter drip!

But what to buy?  Well, we did some retail research for you. Here are tips on winter fashion tips to help you stay stylish and warm for this season courtesy of one of the country's biggest fashion bloggers - Leah Misika...

White Turtleneck
The simplest thing is usually the best answer, right? The turtleneck isn't anything new, instead it is a wardrobe staple. There's so many fits and styles to try. There are the shirt dresses, the oversized and just those really comfy ones you can't go without.

Baddie Boots
Your feet need some reinforcements to make it through winter too. There are many variations of boots that help keep your feet warm for sure... but the only kind that can add some extra personality to your IG looks is the combat boots. There are some heeled options for those days you're super feeling yourself but the flat option is great for getting through your daily errands.

Beret Re-Do
Last year, these were all over instagram. This year, you can easily keep up the Parisian chic momentum with more and more beret styles being stocked in stores. Like you can get a different color for every day, that's how consistent your drip can be. Try the leather or snakeskin ones to say extra fashion forward this season.

Jumping to Safety
The Jumpsuit may be the true saviour of winter fashion. Why? Well, firstly because there are few times where a jumpsuit is not appropriate. They are also very stylish, flattering and can be layered as much you need for added warmth. Get a good khaki one for your weekends out, then a professional plaid one for those cold days in the office.
