His original stage name was Nessy, but Exit changed it to Neslow.
Exit and I were in studio busy working on a song, when he suddenly started calling me Neslow. From that day onwards, everywhere we went together, he called me by that name. Soon other people also started calling me Neslow.
Nes-K, whose real name is Obed Kotokeni Kambode, has worked extensively with Exit but says their working relationship will change in future.
“Before, many people saw me as Exit's shadow. At first this was not a problem but it started bugging me. I feel it's time for me to start building my own legacy and brand,” said Neslow to the NamSun.

A name change is not the only thing the muso has got all lined up. Nes-K said he has also decided to do fewer features. He feels like his experience of working with some local artists has not been very pleasant.
But on a lighter note, Nas-K has some words of wisdom to throw our way. When it comes to going solo he has shares that upcoming NAM artists should always stand on their own.
