The multi-awarding kwaito artist had announced on his Twitter page, that he would be giving away 50 free tickets to lucky fans. The tickets were given away during the IUM Festival that took place on the 31st of July. This is done to hype fans for the upcoming concert in September.
The legend wishes to fill up the stadium which accommodates 20 000 people.
King Tee Dee stepped down from releasing music back in 2018 to focus on his other ventures in the industry. He enjoys a fruitful 15-year career that has made him a household name. Winning multiple awards, he has nobody to thank other than his fans for the support and continues to build his legacy in the industry.
Last year he performed at a concert at Unam stadium in September, where thousands of fans came in their numbers to support the legend.
“I changed the whole industry. Before me, a lot of people did not really believe in local music but as soon as I released my first album, everything about how local music is perceived changed. Radio stations started playing local music more and people started attending music concerts with line-ups comprising more of Namibian artists” said the artist during an interview with Michael Kayunde
Mshasho is also looking to hire 10 ladies for the 28.09.19 activations. Applicants are encouraged to email their picture to [email protected]
Tickets will not be sold at the gate. However, fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance to avoid buying them at the gate, which the muso warns will be expensive.
