Speaking at the launch this morning, the co-founder and organizer Salmi Shiguedha told the media that there has been a lot of exciting and positive feedback from the previous editions as well as new features to look forward to from the upcoming one.
"It gives me pleasure to be here today as we embark upon the hosting of the sixth volume of the Kasi vibe festival which will be held from the 31 may until the 02 June 2019, Kasi vibe festival remains a platform of choice to upcoming entrepreneurs, startups and SME's thus giving us the drive and utmost determination to pursue forth," she said.
According to Salmi, attendees of the sixth edition of Kasi vibe can expect to be mind-blown as they bring together young people from all walks of life to showcase their products and services.
"Earlier this year, we hosted the fifth version of the Kasi vibe festival which was a great success. Kasi Vibe Festival reiterates its commitment to nurture and develop a platform for the community members to engage in business while promoting awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship and business development.
Kasi vibe will continuously foster and promote a lifelong interest of business and entrepreneurship not only as profit-generating activities but also as a means of creating multiple economic hubs and building sustainable communities," she said.
Shiguedha further said that Kasi Vibe remains devoted to the development, capacity-building, and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and shall continue making valuable contributions in the community towards the realization of Vision 2030.

"At this sixth edition of Kasi Vibe, slated for the 31 May to 2 June 2019 at the Dr. Sam Nujoma Stadium, we are bringing you an even bigger and best experience with an expanded venue which will have three entrances. We have upped the game, security will be very tight and we will be working together with the Namibian Police and the City Police respectively. This festival continues to grow and has attracted attention countrywide, Furthermore, at each edition 10 stalls are given away at no cost to innovative Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

In total, there are 70 stalls of products and 30 for food. The last Kasi Vibe was graced by the first lady who applauded the team for taking the initiative to create employment.
