It is not everyday that a Namibian artist makes it on the cover of Hype Magazine- so please recognize...the hype. Gina Jeanz is on a whole other level and this huge boss move she makes for mankind and local Hip-hop culture will definitely let religious Hip-Hop lovers in Africa give attention to Namibia's local Hip-Hop scene.

In 2017, Gina Jeanz became the first Namibian to hit the decks at South Africa’s Rocking The Daisies music and lifestyle festival. She has also previously worked with RedBull studios on a number of musical collaborations and she somehow manages to serve the children looks and face with her modelling career.
Teach us, queen.
This DJ couldn't hide her appreciation for her being chosen as one of the few to cover this months magazine. She shared the cover on her Instagram.
She captioned the post with this sentiment:
To be on the cover of SA’s biggest Hip Hop magazine is surreal especially because we as producers are being recognized for all the right reasons. Thank you to Roo for giving us the opportunity to share our truths and narratives
This will not just open more doors for Gina Jeanz but hopefully for the Namibian Hip-hop industry as well.
If you were struggling to keep up with this powerhouse before, you've got to watch this femme fatal in action as she'll be reigning in the New Year performing at AFROPUNK in Johannesburg, South Africa at the end of the year.
We're keen to see what comes up next for this DJ- after all who runs the world?
