Esperance To Host First International Show

Dr, Intern for The First Lady of Namibia, Mc, humanitarian, business owner and poet, there is no stopping Dr. Luvindao. Esperance broke into the scene in 2011 when she started performing at Spoken Word, and has since gone on to release Namibia's first poetry album in 2018.

In between the two, the poet hosted the Namibian Annual Music Awards, alongside Odile and Tanya and thereafter, took her poetry to the next level.

Esperance says: "the Architecture of Poetry" title was birthed in an attempt to show the world the skill and precision behind poetry. The wordplay that constructs the sentences and gives rise to stanzas," she said.

 Esperance held Auditions for an opening act and picked local poet, Lydia October to open the show. I saw talent and I'm very good at picking up talent. My own spoken word label is not far off and neither are Spoken Word Awards. I remember when I started, people were not as receptive as they are now. Everything has changed and poetry is "a thing" now.

"I'm proud of my entire team because they have assisted me in creating my own platforms. There were not that many platforms for poets that wanted to take their work to the next level. I want to actively create those platforms not just for me, but for talented artists with the drive of lions," she says.
