With the Namibian makeup industry booming and more artists are now coming out of their shells pursuing their passion for makeup, Nalebrity had to spend a day with well-established Makeup artist Ludisha Amukwelele to get a glimpse of what goes down behind the scenes.

Equipped with a certificate from The Make-Up issue Academy of Cape-Town, Ludisha has worked with many local celebrities such as Dice, TopCherie, Nam Gospel, D- Naff, Chikune and many others.

The first thing she does is, set up the light, followed by the makeup kit and starts off with shaping the eyebrows.

Pressed on what inspired her to do makeup, she said, every woman deserves to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, with makeup, its a beauty enhancer and that is just a bonus plus.

"I always feel good when my clients are happy with the final look. In most cases, most clients are less confident before they sit on the chair, but as a makeup artist, it is my job to make sure all clients leave happy and satisfied at all times. This is why I cater to all kinds of beauty aspects and makeups," she explained.

Apart from catering for local celebrities and being the make up artist for a Namibian Series 'The Third Will' that is airing on NBC and  Zambezi Magic Channel, she also specialises in weddings including music videos.

Ludisha who believes that style is something that can take a performer to that next level is not only an ordinary make artist but is also one of the few Namibians who knows how to make fake bruises look real.
