In a video he posted on his Instagram page, Somgaga said he was at the gym, and after his session, he entered the life and a man who seemingly looked like a painter entered the lift as well and he did not know his day was about to change for the better. Somizi said as he got off the life, the man wished him a good day and he did not expect that.

Somizi is known for spreading positive messages on social media that leave his followers feeling inspired and motivated, but he needed the message-touching message from the fan to feel better.

He told his fans that a great message may come from a place you do not expect and said they should never take anything for granted. Somgaga further said after the message he felt good and thanked the man for making his day.

One wonders what is happening in Somizi's life as the are rumors circulating around that he and Mohale Motaung have called it quits and they are apparently going through a divorce. In an interview with Anele Mdoda and her team recently, Somizi mentioned how he and Mohale are going through normal one-year relationship problems. What he said next touched the hearts of many.

He stated that even if his marriage failed, he would have succeeded in not staying in an unhappy place.

“My relationship is exactly like any other relationship. It’s got its ups and downs and at the moment, we are facing that one-year challenge of the marriage,” said Somgaga.

Somizi has been spending more time with Vusi Nova lately but the singer has debunked rumors that they are in a relationship. Speaking to Jon Savage on his What’s Your Poison? podcast, Vusi decided to set the record straight and said they are just friends.

“I have known Somizi for 16 years. I met him before I even got into the music industry. He’s so real and supportive. Somizi is one of those genuine people that believes that if you have a dream, no matter how big, you can work towards it and achieve it.

"People out there are saying that we are dating but we’re not dating. We have mutual respect for each other and we trust each other a lot ... With us, it’s realness all the way. It’s been 16 years now and we’re still going strong,” he said.
