Reinhard Mahalie Bags An International Nomination

One of the country's most loved fashion stylists Reinhard Mahalie, has bagged an international nomination and he is ready to fly the Namibian flag high. It is always heart-warming to see our own homegrown talent getting recognition outside the country, because it proves that their hard work is paying off.

Reinhard is nominated for the Designer Africa awards. The prestigious awards will be hosted in Lagos and the stylist is nominated under the African Male Fashion Stylist of the year.

Nominees for the awards were recently announced and the awards aim to recognize creatives who are doing exceptionally well in the their respective fields.

Taking to Twitter to make the announcement he wrote, "Hello Namibia! Hello Africa!I am delighted to announce my nomination in the category African Fashion Stylist of the Year Male for the @designersawardsafrica in Lagos,Nigeria! Plz vote for me."

Reinhard is one of the country's top fashionistas. The creative is known for always turning heads with his eye-catching outfits at events and he represents the country well in the fashion game. He recently attended the prestigious  Sun Met and served some looks hot in a blue dress.

His attendance at the event became the talk of the town and he is known for not missing renowned events such as the Vodacom Durban July. The stylists has worked with numerous artists in the country and he never disappoints.

Reinhard won the Favorite Stylist of the year award at the 2019 Simply You Magazine awards.  In 2019 he was also recognized as part of the top 10 best dressed reader by GQ South Africa.

Known as the Namibian trio Reinhard and his friends Jay-Aeron Gertze, and Rumano Fabrishh are forever slaying and they have wonn the hearts of many with their fashion sense.

Reinhard's fashion game is always on point and he makes sure that when she steps outside he has all eyes on him. He told Namibian Economist that he loves the media industry.

“I love the industry and the path my career is taking, until I get that dream TV presenter gig, I will be concentrating on growing my brand, starting a Fashion Stylist Master class next year and get international clients to work with,”

“Even though we are a few and people do not take fashion stylists seriously, we exceed our work and in turn we get recognised for our hard work,” he said.
