Expressing her excitement on the win, Romiley took to Instagram to share how appreciative she is for the love and promised to do a stellar job.
"I GOT THE JOB! Hello Namibia, My name is Romiley Hoffmann and I don’t usually cry on stage. Please bear with me I’ve just been crowned your @miss_supranational_namibia 2023. Thank you to all the sponsors that made last night possible. I stand here today because you believe in me. Thank you for an excellent show and I look forward to a fruitful reign with you all by my side.
"Thank you to the powerful women that surround me. I’m a reflection of your love and tireless efforts to be better than you were yesterday. Thank you to @miss_supranational_namibia for opening this door for me. This journey has introduced me to people I dreamt of meeting. It has taken me to places I’ve never been and above all, it has transformed me into the woman that will serve her community with grace and elegance."
She then went on to thank all the people who played a role in her crowning, "Thank you @emsbaby16 for holding my hand through this. Thank you for being harsh when I made excuses and forgiving when I was too hard on myself. Thank you to everyone that has contributed towards this day. We have reaped the seeds we’ve sown. May we continue to work towards a successful reign. Thank you to my mentor @sarel75salon. Working with you was good decision to make. You’ve pushed me and prepared me for situations beyond my control. My Supra sisters and brothers, thank you for being the family I needed for this journey. You love and care for me so freely and I’m grateful to have met you. Thank you to my friends and family for pushing me towards this. Your support was what I needed at the time and you showed up."
Romiley concluded by saying, "Lastly, God has graced me with this opportunity to glorify His name. If you take away one thing from my reign, may it be His light and love. Thank you Namibia for your love."
The pageant was hosted by Adriano Visagie and Odile Gertze.
Adriano remains in awe over his growth in the industry, "My bravery, my grit, my determination and unwavering spirit to juggle on this set , go to school , do radio and still show up lines down has been a constant drive to date. I remember when the kids in my community saw this specific clip play , they said “Adriano you are going to Hollywood one day…”
