Llewelyn Adams, the founder of the Namibian music site Donlu Africa is currently making a name for himself within the music industry and has proven that dreams do definitely come true.

The 27 year old who launched his site in 2018 with the aim of creating a platform for local musicians to easily sell and upload their music is currently celebrating  one million streams for his music site.

Being a country with 2.4 million people, this is definitely a milestone in the history of music sites in Namibia.

Speaking to Nalebrity this morning, Adams said, surprisingly, the site has grown faster than expected and he has plans to have a private party to celebrate the one million streams.

"We have plans to celebrate but for now its just maybe with the artists and the people from the corporate world. Soon we would have a bigger celebration party where we can invite the general public as well," he explained.

Donlu is one of Namibia's biggest music site which started with less than 20 visitors to the site to receiving 11 000 visitors immediately a month after it was launched.

"The growth is really happening we just don't want to give too much away but we plan to working closely with artists, hosting workshops and events. We want to open a music store which dignifies the legacy of Namibian artists and other cool projects," he said.

Questioned on other future plans for the site, Adams said, the aim is to become a global force and push other products and services that are currently still being developed.

Congratulations to him!
