Namibian rapper Lioness, has opened up about how proud she is of herself for being an independent artist. It is no secret that being an independent artist has its own perks and downfalls, but if you get better guidance from the heavyweights of the industry, you can manage it and fulfill all your goals.

Lioness said she acknowledges the fact that she still has a very long way to go, in order to achieve her desired success however her anxiety is still alive. Lioness who is also a doctor said she will always look back at all the great things she has done as an independent artist.

She wrote "I acknowledge I still have a very long way to go in terms of reaching personal goals I’ve set for my music career. The anxiety is alive.
But I will always look back at what I’ve done as an independent artist. And damn I DID THAT!!! No label no cap either"

Lioness recently released her long-awaited studio album titled "Wish You Were Here". The album has been receiving rave reviews from the masses.
