Taking to social media, Lioness announced that she completed her home studio after 2 years!
"It took 2 years to complete my home studio. A place I feel safe to create, to explore, to fail and rise. Becoming a mother has made me reevaluate my music taste, intention and everything in between. I’m ready for the next chapter," gushed Lioness.
Lioness recently walked down the aisle with her baby daddy Miguel Hamutenya. Together they welcomed their first born last year and broke the internet with their wedding pictures.
The wedding was held at the Droombos lodge and was organised by Evgeniia of The Splendid Wedding Company. Her gorgeous dress was designed by South African fashion designer Gert-Johan Coetzee.
Speaking on why she kept her relationship private Lioness said she wanted to keep things away from prying eyes, “I kept it away from the blogs and media because I had never been so happy to keep this joy between me, my family and friends. Yesterday, we solidified our blessings in front of the people that make up this foundation,” she wrote on Instagram.
Lioness once sent Miguel a sweet message on Instagram when she revealed that they met almost 17 years ago now. "You've always cultivated me, made me better, taught me hard lessons and painful truths. Your work ethic is unbelievable, and even though I had this drive, you made me want to push harder."
She not only kept her engagement hush hush, but her pregnancy also. She only revealed when she was 7 Months pregnant and it was for a cover shoot for Simply You Magazine cover where she showed off her baby bump. The rapper recently hit back at a YouTuber who dragged AKA and his girlfriend Nadia Nakai, "Imagine, screaming at the top of your lungs, hyperventilating, sweating making ugly faces, foaming at the mouth to be talking about someone else? It’s the possession for me," said Mrs. Hamutenya.
