Celebrities... They’re just like us, in that they often have degrees that have nothing to do with their actual careers and they kill in both trades! Lioness is one of those and today, she hopes that her story inspires people in the land of the brave.

What can Lioness not do eintlik? From dope lyrics and hits to amazing performances, the queen of the Pride of Qliq remains stunting on us and snatching edges too. Today, Lioness whose real name is Latoya Mwoombola officially graduates from the Unam School of medicine with honors in a bachelor of medicine and surgery (MBCHB) today.

The hottest rapper in the country today put out a series of tweets with heartfelt messages for her fans and the public at large. Also meaning to brag, which she deserves to, Lioness said that she managed to get her degree in six years and no fails, skipping hospitals or studio sessions got in her way at all.

Lioness also admitted that the road to Safari Hotel wasn’t a walk in the park however, she kept on going. The humble multitalented Dr also claims that she is not perfect and that she did struggle to get where she is today.

“I am not perfect. I really struggled, I went through a depressive episode and lost the plot but you need to keep pushing,” read one of her tweets #LionesessMotivates.

Not wanting to win alone, Lioness says that she hopes to one day be able to put some ‘youngins’ through college. Lioness also congratulated her fellow graduates saying that despite the tears, thoughts of dropping out, the bum ni*gga that stressed them or the girls that dribbled them; they still managed to get done. She indeed is a lioness.

What will definitely be a cherry on top of Lioness’s year is perhaps the award Female Artist of the Year at the upcoming NAMAs. Lioness has been showing us flames since the beginning of the year. For one, she is Namibia’s first rap female artist to feature on the Coke Studio Africa initiative and she is one of Mr. Eazi’s top 10 emPawa artists who headed to South Africa for a 3-week Masterclass. On top of that, Lioness has been dropping outstanding visuals to her songs from her album Pride Of CliQ with the latest being Meme. Keep on winning Dr. Lioness, the world is your oyster!
