Today we celebrate Kp Illest as the fellow stars and fans wish him a very happy birthday. The artist received many wishes on this special day from his fans and one special post from Maria Nepembe

The artist has been reposting birthday wishes on his Instagram story and we wish him a great birthday as well! He has been giving us amazing music since he entered the industry and we could not be more grateful.

Entering the industry at the of 15, the musician traveled to the UK to open for the Black Eyes Peas. He has been in the industry since a young age and has remained strong, making his way to the top.

Starting his career in 2008, he rose to fame after winning the Sprite Urban Expression competition in 2011. He featured as the Hype Magazine SA’s hottest newcomer in 2013 after releasing his debut mixtape ‘Kill Your Television Volume 1’.

He then became Namibia’s most promising young hip-hop artist. He then released his first studio EP titled ‘Memoirs of a Dreamer’ in which he infused jazz and hip-hop. It was the first Namibian hip-hop compilation that was made available across international digital stores and was the number one hip-hop album on iTunes for two weeks.

He later released his third mixtape titled ‘Kill Your Television Volume 3’ in 2016 which got him nominated at the NAMAs 2016. It also won the award for the best song with a message and was nominated for Best Hip Hop 2016.

He released his debut album ‘Price of Ambition’ in 2017 and this was what opened doors for the artist into the mainstream. KP Illest released another single titled ‘Hold This’ in this song he expressed and spoke about choosing to abide by no rules and to not conform to the stereotypical rapper's lifestyle of wild nights and even wilder women.

In 2018 KP performed with Lioness a fellow Namibian artist at the Eunice Music Festival. KP released an album titled "Faith and Favour" which was a 13-track album that includes features by Kenny K, Monique English and Skrypt, as well as South African vocalist Cyber and international Nigerian musician Ice Prince.

He has seen a lot of success in his music career and has been the talk of the town ever since his music video ‘Jealosy’ with Maria Nepembe. The two have been seen together a lot, rumors of the two of them dating coming up every now and then.

She even recently stood up for him against Top Cheri and posted on her Instagram for his birthday. She posted a picture of the two of them together with the caption ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEST FRIEND!!! For being the best to ever do it, I celebrate you today and every other day. Thank you for all you do and all that you are. We are blessed to have you. I LOVE YOU KAPAKA.’

The two have been raising eyebrows each time they work together and make quite a cute couple. Dillish Mathews is another star who wished him happy birthday in the comment section, along with other fans and followers.

We hope he gains nothing but success in his career and wish him a very happy birthday!
