The highly anticipated beauty pageant took place at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino. Out of 11 other women who were competing at the contest, Cassia reined supreme. She will now be competing at the Miss Universe 2022.

Coming second place was is 26 year-old Leoné Van Jaarsveld from  Swakopmund and coming in third was 23-year-old Diana Andimba.

Taking to Instagram, Cassia expressed gratitude over the support she received up to her crowning.

"Yesterday Morning I woke up a Finalist for @missnamibia . This morning I woke up as Miss Namibia 2022. I have no words to express my gratitude towards every single person that has stood by my side during this journey. Many who follow me know the journey was not easy but indeed it is evident that it was worth it. Namibia! This is our year. I will make us proud. God bless you!

Her first few days as Miss Universe were nothing short of amazing, "Extremely surreal but this is my new reality and I am eternally blessed! Thank you so much @nbcnamibia for having @zoe_karsten and I on good morning Namibia!
Thank you to @kosmos94.1 for having us as well! I really played the roll of big sister today! Picking up and dropping off my little sister at school , conquering the world one interview at a time!"

Cassia is also a paramedic by profession, she once posted about what it is like, "To be a paramedic is to be a haven of hope for a human life. We are forced into traumatic situations where we have to perform advanced clinical skills under tremendous pressure. EMC groomed me for Miss Namibia as well and I am forever proud and grateful for my EMC family!"

The ideal Miss Namibia, must uphold some form of elegancy. According to the website, they celebrate beauty but also the woman must be deserving of the crown.

"Annually Miss Namibia Pageant celebrates beauty with a charitable cause by crowning one deserving young woman to carry the title of Miss Namibia.
"The title initiates a drive to bring charity to the less-privileged; to promote deserving social causes;  to be an example of purposeful living to the young and to bring honour and pride to our Nation as an Ambassador of Namibia."

Winners of the 2021 pageant run include Miss Namibia - Universe Chelsi Shikongo, Miss Namibia - World Annerie Mare, and Miss Teen Universe Alexi Swart.
