Gazza shared a powerful message with his fans "In a time where some of us have lost loved ones, livelihoods and hopes it is easy to fall off track. It is easy to lose your motivation, your balance and your will to continue during this time here is a message of motivation to you."

Gazza was supposed to release his album Messiah recently but he couldn't due to losing his loves one.

"It is with great sadness and disappointment that I have decided to postpone the release of my album Messiah. My mind, spirit, and energy is not in the right place to release such a personal body of work. This comes after the loss of close relatives in a short period of time. My heart goes out to everyone dealing with grief ad mental health challenges during this pandemic. I will be using the following two weeks to focus on my family and allow my energy and spirit to get up to the right place," he shared.

He said his management will keep his fans updated on the revised release date soon. "My management will be keeping you up to date with any developments through the GMP social media tour, announcements, and our revised release schedule."

In an interview with  The Namibian, he said the album will bring positive vibes to everyone in light of all the challenges we are currently due to the COVID-19 outbreak which has brought everything to a complete standstill and claimed several years.

β€œIt's good vibes, lessons learned, while I am using my platform to raise awareness on important issues. I think with this cloud of darkness hanging over everyone, 'Messiah' should also bring some positivity – a reason to dance and just find enjoyable moments. The beats are mad, it's a lot of fun, too,” he says.

β€œIt was Nina Simone who said that an artist's duty is to reflect the times, and the last three years have been very defining in many ways, from massive protests to a pandemic that caused much panic and confusion
,” he said.

Gazza recently released his EP is titled Road To Messiah, and it was a preview of his upcoming studio album.  "When consolidating the track-list on β€˜Messiah’, the bulk of the music that didn’t make it felt too great to be archived. Paying homage to my loving fanbase, I want them to know the quality of work they could expect & that we didn’t compromise on anything within our creative process." he said.
