The DJ said he is proud to be Tahira's dad. He continued, "You are such a positive, charming, and absolutely adorable daughter. I am so proud that I get to call you my daughter because no other person could ever hope to compare to you. Happy birthday to my perfect TAHIRA."

DJ Castro is continuing to take the music industry by storm. His recent hit song The Vibe already has over 50 000 views on YouTube. He features the South African singer Nokwazi and Yeezir in the song.

The DJ  is also known for his philanthropy work. He has done a remarkable job in the country giving back to the less fortunate. Last year he announced that he has teamed up with Standard Bank to help school kids in several regions with stationery and other school materials.

"Today was a great day, I was invited to go see the results of the children at Multipurpose Help Center. Every year I collect stationery with my team for orphans that can’t afford to avoid stationary being an excuse for failure. Saw a lot of A+ and I’m very grateful," he tweeted about one of the beneficiaries.

Castro said he tries to push these donations every year. He admitted that the pandemic has affected many livelihoods also encouraging people to come together and help each other.

"Every year we collect school stationery for orphans that can’t afford to avoid stationary being an excuse for failure. This is the 4th year and we are looking at helping more less fortunate children, COVID-19 has affected us all but with unity, we can overcome divisiveness 🙏🏾," he wrote.

He also revealed that he together with his team has gone beyond donating school materials only. They have also helped families with blankets and other necessities.

"Last year we collected enough for Otjiwarongo and resettlement in Kombat, this year we are looking at helping 5 different towns. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for any school stationery donation. Let’s Unite.

"I bought blankets for 20 households at the new Ombili location with my bro @yeezir.nam. It’s very cold and unfortunately, we couldn’t cater to everyone, if you are out there & wanna donate a blanket don’t hesitate to contact me. Any donations are welcome from as little as $100. Let’s unite and help the less fortunate in our community, every kind act you do can change the world," he wrote.
