Peter Shalulile career
Shalulile began his professional football career in 2011 when he joined Tura Magic FC in Namibia when the club was campaigning in the NFA Khomas second division.
His remarkable performance at the club helped him to gain promotion in the 2011–2012 season. He stayed at Tura Magic FC until 2015 when he relocated to South Africa and joined Highlands Park FC for the 2015 – 2016 season.
He assisted Highlands FC which was playing in the South African second tier at the time to rise to the top flight in 2016.
For the next few years, his performance on the pitch piqued the interest of many, such that mid-way through the 2019 - 2020 season, rumours circulated that three top South African football clubs, namely Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Kaizer Chiefs, were hunting him down.
In late 2020, Shalulile got his big break when he joined Mamelodi Sundowns FC which plays in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League. He adapted fairly fast scoring 4 goals in 7 league appearances and he also recently became the fastest player to reach 50 goals for Mamelodi Sundowns.
For the second consecutive season, Peter Shalulile was named PSL Player of the Season and Footballer of the Season in 2021/22.
