After releasing his hit single Gusheshe in 2020, Manxebe caused a buzz in the music industry and it wasn’t long before he was branded as “the new face of Kwaito.”

Since kickstarting his music career, Manxebe has consistently released great hits that have ensured that he stays relevant. He has also worked with some of the biggest names in Namibia’s music industry including Top Cheri, King Tee Dee, Kaboy Kamakili, and Sunny Boy, just to name a few.

Manxebe’s beef with Kaboy Kamakili


For the longest time, Manxebe and fellow musician- Leonard Makili, better known as Kaboy Kamakili have been at loggerheads.

It is not exactly clear what sparked their feud that was marked by the two throwing major shade at each other on social media and at some point, the beef escalated further when Kaboy publicly challenged Manxebe saying that if he thought he was better than him then they should meet in the studio.

The two seemingly called a truce when Kaboy Kamakili announced on his Instagram that they would be headlining a show together in 2021.

In March 2021, Manxebe narrowly escaped with his life after he was involved in a car accident in which he speculated that someone was out to get him.

Taking to Twitter, he posted:

"I got into a car accident with my Car Today. Pray for me if you can plz I'm sure Some F*cken niggers want me to be dead! #One Love my Good people! One Love #God Bless."

Although he didn’t reveal further details about how the accident had happened or who his alleged nemesis was, Manxebe, his fans and fellow artists who were concerned about his well-being flooded his social media with messages of quick recovery.
