Stanely Ou Stakes Recovering After Contracting COVID-19

He advices people to stay safe because the virus is real

Local musician Stanley Hamaseb better known as Ou Stakes, is the latest Namibian artist, to have contracted the novel coronavirus which has brought the entire world to a standstill since it started spreading like wildfire.

According to The Namibian, the artist was recently admitted to hospital but he revealed to the publication that he is recovering well. The Bobo hitmaker said although he is recovering well but he is experiencing difficulty in breathing which is one of the virus' major symptoms.

The musician warned people that COVID-19 is real and advised people to wear their masks properly. “Covid-19 is a reality. It's hitting us hard. People think it's a joke but it's not. "Wear your mask properly, not on your chin. People think it's not a reality but once you are in hospital you feel it,” he told the publication.

His fans and local artists have been wishing him a speedy recovery. In other news, in July 2020 medical doctor Lioness tweeted that she was going into isolation after being in contact with someone who tested positive for the virus.

''It’s unfortunate that I was in contact with a COVID 19 + individual. Your doctor will be going into self-isolation and taking the appropriate measures!'' she shared on Twitter.

The musician was also recently involved in a car accident. Taking to social media to detail the accident, Lioness said she will be taking some time off to rest. In a tweet, she said no one was badly injured. The singer said she was on her way back from the clinic when a tire burst and the vehicle rolled three times.

The accident reminded her that life is too short and she cautioned her followers to be safe. Lioness shared pictures of the vehicle overturned. The singer had previously set tongues wagging after she took to social media to share about an unfortunate incident she encountered. The rapper posted a picture of her car tyre punctured and asked if someone wanted her dead or not? Lioness captioned the snap "Y'all want me dead now or what?

Following her post, some fans slammed her for her car tyres and said they are old. A tweep replied to her post, "That tyre looks tired itself man. Just replace it." Lioness replied and said she has a spare, "What's tired is.. no let me not, I have DUH." The singer managed to bounce back and she is doing well in her music career.
