It is no secret that Namibia is blessed with talented creatives who have their sights set on global dominance. No matter what we do in music, fashion, or modeling, we are always thriving for greatness.

Three Namibian producers DJ Abux, Soulking, and Innocent have achieved international acclaim following the release of their Amapiano remix of It Ain’t Me. The talented producers have taken the world by storm with the remix.

Most social media users have been taking their groove on by partaking in the viral dance challenge and it's beautiful to see their dance moves.

The remix has gone viral and it has sparked a dance frenzy on Tik Tok, Instagram, and YouTube. It has also garnered 2 Million views on YouTube proving that it is a hit. DJ Abux expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support they have received on his Instagram account.

The original version of the song was released by Kgo and Selena Gomex in 2017 and was titled "It Ain't Me.". The music video of the song has currently received 200 million views on YouTube

Another one of our faves who has been making international moves is Kurcza. She recently scored a multi-million dollar deal with Empire. Speaking to the Confidente she said “This partnership with Empire will allow us to get into the right rooms to make sure that we turn Kurzca into the biggest star the world has ever seen, and yes, we genuinely mean the world,” she said

“This deal will not only benefit the artists under RTE Records, but this deal allows us as Namibians to have a platform where all songwriters, producers, and artists will be able to submit their work and make sure it gets in front of the right people. This will create an opportunity for one to benefit financially off of one’s work, an opportunity we have never had in our country,"

Namibian model Meriam Kaxuxwena has also been raising the Namibian flag high. She is an international model who has graced many stages. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2020 she could not work but she recently announced that she is back at work.

“Last year we couldn't do any shows due to Covid-19. Thank God, Covid-19 is now over we are back to our shows. I'm just happy to return, I feel blessed,” she stated.
