Namibian male celebrities will be exchanging blows for the Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC) Knockout Project scheduled to take place on the 12th October 2019 at the Windhoek Country Club and Resort.

The Knock-out project brings together different celebrated Namibian personalities to fight exhibition style boxing over three rounds to showcase their stance against various social ills including gender based violence.

The eight celebrities that will be boxing against each other are: rapper KP Illest , up against TV and Radio Personality, R&B Singer, Songwriter and MC Paul Da Prince for the Jr Middleweight Title. 

For the MTC Knockout GBV Heavyweight title, Marketing Manager Energy 100FM Jossy Joss will go toe-to-toe with Namibian Business Personality Amos Shiyuka, while NAMA award winning gospel artist D-Naff will take on TV Host, TV Producer, Creative Director and Founder of Waka Waka Moo, Luis Munana, for MTC Knockout GBV Cruiserweight Title.

MTC Key Accounts Executive & NBC News Anchor Theo Ishuna will be taking on Journalist, News Editor, Producer & Presenter Marco Ndlovu in another MTC Knockout GBV Heavyweight title, while arguable one of Namibia’s best DJ’s, DJ Cheeze will rub shoulders will Namibian rapper and King of Hikwa Sunny Boy

Another popular fight will be between Namibian Businessman and Hall of Farmer Johnny JJD Doeseb and crowd-puller Namibian author, Activist, Academic and Public Intellectual Job Amupanda. 

For the MTC Knockout GBV Jr Middleweight Title, Hip Hop Artist, Producer, Radio Presenter & MC Mappz Kapofi will take on an opponent yet to be confirmed, while Managing Director of Mikel Jes Michael Vermeulen is also to face an opponent yet to be confirmed.
More excitingly, all ring girl duties for the event will be performed by Namibia's very own celebrated female personalities.
