Mushe's Shoe Collection Dragged

Does he need to go back to the drawing board?

Kwaito star and tycoon Mushe Uulenga has recently put out his first shoe collection named ‘Cota Mushe’ which has received a lot of criticism on social media.

Mushe who over the years has branched out from being a musician to a business man owning a few bars advertised the ‘Cota Mushe’ shoe brand on Instagram and the Namibian people were not quite impressed calling the shoes ugly and a waste of money.

The comments read as “the brand doesn’t fit on shoes, advertise with better and quality shoes do not match. Zero credit given.”

While another person advised him to not continue selling the shoes as they are not worth buying or selling but rather stick to running his bar and chicken business.

Better known for his creative mind, Mushe also has a tire business and his recording studio named Omnangeshefa records.

Contacted for a comment, Mushe said the shoes he advertised recently were just samples and he still in talk with the suppliers from China to import the first batch.

“I bought the shoes in a boutique and they import them from china, there are written unknown. I don’t know what originality they are talking about. If there are original shoes of that sort then I don’t know but I respect people’s opinions.”

Despite people criticising his new product, he said he will continue doing business saying that it is part of the journey.

“There is nothing wrong with people criticizing but I will also not be discouraged,” he added.
