Somizi posted a picture of them enjoying their soft life at the Houghton Luxury Apartments. The besties were getting pampered before the big release of their single Ntandane, which is dedicated to Somizi and Vusi's late mothers.
A Twitter user commented on the post and asked which team is Vusi Nova playing for? Somizi clapped back at the tweep and said "I was gonna answer that if the answer was gonna improve yo tekateking (unbalanced) bank balance.
Tweeps thereafter came guns blazing at Somizi poking fun at him for looking frail and broke, making him taste his own medicine.

Somizi has responded to the backlash he faced saying he has zero regrets when it comes to his response. He feels as though people deserved it because they always come at his sideways, bullying him. Admitting that some of the hurtful things people say do get to him, he does not regret the way he responded to the troll.
