Through various Instagram posts, he explained what happened during the night of the arrest saying they had an argument that became worse when the police intervened.

He said nothing has changed between he and his girl, and that he still hopes they could fix things.

"I love her she was there for me during my darkest moments, whether we get back together or not and actually marry it's up to her, it's beyond me now. Too much hate and I understand," he started off.

"There was no beating or kicking or her having swollen eyes or blood as the media is portraying.  We had an argument and I was a fool because of alcohol. She was not at fault or wrong, she was only trying to help. When the officers got involved, they made matters worse by insisting she must open a case of 'assault through threatening' so I had an exchange of words in the argument with her"

He claimed the officers begged her to open a case and even claimed he damaged their car, so they ended up opening a case against him. He accused the cops of trying to cause a rift between him and his girlfriend.

"I did not beat her but I was a fault for causing the whole situation, it wasn't supposed to happen," he added.

He then says when the dust settles, he will explain everything in detail.

Lukas explains that this is not a case of assault but it is a case of 'assault through threatening.'

"One thing is for sure, I will fight for her because clearly me being happy with her was making you people unhappy.'

He then ranted about how people are supposedly obsessed with him and his life saying they should lay off.

"No bail for Brownson Lukas," the publication reported. "The state has refused to grant foreign currency trader Brownson Lukas bail stating that, he might commit similar offenses if he is granted bail.

"He appeared for three counts of charges including resisting arrest from a member of the police, assault common read with provision of the domestic violence act and malicious damage of property. Lukas will remain in custody until 29 August 2022 for further investigations," reported the blog.

This is not the first time an incident of this nature happens. In February, h also got arrested for assault but he defended himself through his testimony in court, "If that's what I had done, she would have had open wounds, or injuries, or blue eyes, but she does not have any of that," Lukas said in his testimony.

"She came and slapped me and started insulting me in front of everyone. The people even had to stop the music, I went to my car and drove home, but she followed me," he was quoted as saying.
