DJ Obza Finally Released

This follows after he was allegedly detained

South Africa's much-loved DJ Obza recently landed himself in trouble after allegedly providing fake COVID-19 test results to gain entry to the country. The Namibian Sun reported over the weekend that the DJ was detained by Walvis Bay police after he was set to perform in Windhoek but he is finally free.

DJ Obza is one of South Africa's rising stars, his smash hit Mang'dakiwe has catapulted his career to even greater heights. The Mang'dakiwe hitmaker was billed to perform at the Volkswagen Festival Launch this past weekend but he did not show up due to being detained and this left his legion of fans disappointed.

Taking to his Instagram account yesterday, the DJ posted a video of him at the airport finally touching down in Namibia. The video featured him doing a meet and greet with his followers as he gears up for a much-anticipated performance on Saturday. DJ Obza is set to perform at the Garden Inn and some of his followers are excited that he has finally been released. We hope this time around he won't have any problems.

The DJ was also spotted hanging out with the likes of Amushelelo who took to his Instagram page to welcome him in the country. "With my brother @official_djobza_sa he is officially in Namibia 🇳🇦 please show him some love and follow him. He is a legend in the making," shared Amushelelo.

DJ Obza was supposed to perform alongside Gazza this past weekend who left his fans begging for more following his great performance. In a post, he thanked his followers for the love and support "Long time no see 😏 I cannot begin to explain how amazing it was to be back on stage again 🙏🏾 Thank you guys for always showing me love ❤️," he shared.
