"My lungs took a hard hit"

Media personality and actor Adriaono Visague has taken to social media to open up about his battle with COVID-19 after recently contracting the virus.

He detailed his unpleasant post-recovery journey in an Instagram post, expressing how happy he is to have conquered COVID-19. As a result of the deadly virus, his lungs took a hard hit. Adriaono who is also a voice-over artist is finally breathing a huge sigh of relief after recovering from the virus as he is able to do voice-overs again to secure the bag.

"My lungs took a hard hit after recovering from COVID-19. Being able to do two voiceovers in less than three weeks has been such a confidence booster because I lost a bit of myself with being able to 'hold my breath'. Thank you to my favorite Corporates that align with my brand and appreciate my voice. You've allowed me to turn my voice into an invoice,' he said.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been hearing about ordinary people and public figures testing positive. Some have conquered the virus but some have succumbed to it. Two months ago the president Mr. Hage Geingob and his wife Monica Geingob, tested positive for COVID-19. This was shared across several social media platforms by the Presidency.

"The presidency would like to inform the nation that president Hage G. Geingob and the First Lady, Madame Monica Geingob tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday evening 26 May 2021. The president and the First lady are in good spirits and self-isolating at their residence," shared the presidency.

The presidency shared neither of them was hospitalized. "The President and the First Lady are in a stable condition and in good spirits. All precautionary measures are taken, and nor the President nor the First Lady have been admitted to the hospital." shared The Presidency.

Musician Chikune also shared her experience with COVID-19. Her second jab was scheduled to be given, but she contracted the virus instead. She revealed that she has been in quarantine for seven days now. "Just when I am due for my second jab, I test positive for COVID-19. Honestly so over this pandemic. Already been in quarantine for 7 days now another 10 days for isolation," she shared.

Luis Munana has also pleaded with the masses to stay safe and check in on their families during these trying times. "We should check in on our families because there are people who are going through the most either by losing a loved one or by testing positive. I just want to remind you about being grateful and to check up on your loved ones"

 Somizi Mhlongo also revealed that was paranoid by the new COVID-19 variant Delta after heading out to shop for a few necessities.

“Hi family, guys I’m not okay. Anxiety, anxiety, anxiety is gonna be the death of us, literally. I’m not okay. I’m overly paranoid and there are new variants of the virus every single day, so I’m pleading with everyone who has a chance to listen to this please let's be safe and take extra caution as we have never done it before," he said.

“Guys, kubi (it’s really bad) Like I’m out here to buy essentials, and it's things I really, really need like medication and stuff and already I made sure I didn’t touch anything, see anyone. Someone was asking for a picture and I was like ‘not today, not ever! Not now, not soon’. Like you never know,”
